Dog With A View is focused on outdoor training on-leash and off-leash in the mountains and local parks. Mona specializes in off-leash distraction training. Outdoor training is about control, when you need it, to provide a safe outcome for everyone in the wilderness. 

Best Practice

There is disagreement in the dog training community regarding best practices. In my humble opinion, I believe in dog training one needs to keep an open mind. What works for one dog may not work for the next dog. 

In the past, I observed certain treatment plans worked for one patient; but, did not always work for another. I believe there are many variables to take into account to achieve a good patient outcome, as well as, a good dog training outcome. ​

​Thus, I've developed my own style of training over the years incorporating positive, scientific, electronic and  relationship-based training.  ​

What is the difference between DWAV and SUNL?

Dog With A View provides training focusing on outdoor manners when hiking or walking in the park.

 Sit Up N Listen Dog Training offers a 2-week Board and Train that focuses on manners training outdoors, in-home and in public buildings such as retail shops. SUNL also teaches a wider range of commands, such as "place" than DWAV.
